Description
Type HZ is a single- or multi-stage centrifugal pump with shaft sealing. The suction stand is designed as an inlet spiral and the suction-side impeller features an enlarged inlet cross section to achieve low NPSH values. Axial thrust is compensated via relief boreholes and throttle gaps. Wear rings on suction and pressure sides are standard. The pump shaft is supported by a cylindrical ball bearing and a double-sided angular contact ball bearing. Pumps can be operated in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. A lateral suction-nozzle arrangement is available as a variant.
