The pressure reducing valve V182N82 reduces the system pressure to a defined value. IJsing the
differential pressure, the pressure reducer is adjusted to the set operating pressure. The outlet
pressure is not directly related to the inlet pressure.
The downstream pressure is exerted on the diaphragm surface via a control orifice and
counteracts the force of the set spring. Once pressure equilibrium is reached, the valve closes and
thus keeps the operating pressure constant. If the pressure decreases on the outlet side, the
spring force is greater and the valve opens until pressure equilibrium is reached again.
Advantage
• All parts in contact with the medium are made of highly resistant plastic.
• The adjustment mechanism is hermetically sealed against the medium.
• Piston, pressure spring and control surface optimisation
• No auxiliary power required
• Easy maintenance
• Can be installed in any position
• Diaphragm-protected pressure gauge for displaying outlet pressure
• Valve adjustment during operation
