Description

Also known as an overflow, safety or backpressure valve, the Type 586 Pressure Retaining Valve works to keep the pressure at the valve inlet constant at all times, thereby ensuring problem-free operation. Made of fully molded, high-grade plastic, this is an intelligent addition to any piping system. Connections: Fittings, spigots Pressure level (nominal pressure) PN 10 Pressure difference Pressure difference between inlet and outlet: min. 1 bar Test standard: EN 12266-1, ISO 9393-2 (in accordance) Advantage Keep the pressure at the valve inlet constant at all times Prevent backflow into the piping system. Made of fully molded, high-grade plastic Easy and quick to install thanks to its streamlined, intuitive design Low maintenance Works for small and large pipe configurations. Applications Construction of chemical facilities Construction of industrial facilities Function of the pressure relief valve The desired pressure at the valve inlet is set by means of the adjustable spring resistance. If the inlet pressure rises above the set value, e.g. because the pump capacity is too high, the valve piston rises against the spring resistance.
