Description

Definition
A folding handle, also called a recessed or flush handle, is a mechanical component used to operate, lift or move various objects, doors, hatches or covers.

Material
  • Handle in chrome-plated steel or matte stainless steel (AFNOR Z 8 CNF 18-09, Werk 1.4305, AISI 303)
  • Mounting feet and caps in black matte technopolymer

Version
Two versions available: chrome-plated steel or matte stainless steel.

Dimensional range
Available with three centre distances l1: 100 mm, 120 mm or 180 mm. Handle height l2 = 45.5 mm.

Usage
  • Mounting feet resist up to 250°C.
  • Caps covering the fixing screws must not be used above 100°C.
  • Indicative static load capacity; exceeding this value may deform the handle or break the mounting feet.
  • Suitable for lifting or moving small to medium-sized items; can be fitted on hatches, covers or sides of wheeled cabinets.
  • The fold-flat feature reduces the risk of snagging and accidents.
  • The two caps conceal the fixing screws for a neat finish and prevent dirt ingress into screw heads.

Mounting
  • Remove the two caps on the feet of the folding handle.
  • Fix the handle using hex socket screws (not supplied).
  • Replace the caps if the operating temperature does not exceed 100°C.
