StructureHigh strength casting iron (HT300) with tempering treatment is utilized to ensure rigidity, stability and durability. A fixed cross beam structure combines the beam and columns into one sturdy door shape to guarantee machine solidity.
MovementsLarge twin V is adopted on the machine base and work-table railways to allow rock-steady table movements and maintain best alignment and equilibrium. Grinding head vertical and longitudinal travel are guided by high-precision grade ball-screws and driven by Baldor AC servo motors (PNC type) for accurate positioning and micron-precise feeding. Grinding head cross travel moves on high density strength steel (S55C) with ultra precision grade linear roller bearings for firm and smooth cross travel and accurate cutting ability. Angular turn on the vertical grinding head is driven by an AC servo motor on worm shaft transmission; numerical insert on desired angle with accuracy to 0.1° allows swift angle forming grinding.
Spindle & Motor setHigh precision in-house assembled cartridge-type spindle set uses six super-precision CP4 grade angular ball bearings, sealed with permanent lubrication for low noise, low heat rise and high precision. Japanese brand V3 grade high torque spindle motors are utilized and are tested with kinetic balance inspections; integrated with spindle via couplings for direct transmission to obtain maximum torque and reduce vibration.
LubricationForce coverage lubrication (oil streams down from upper to lower machine base railways) avoids impacts from lubricant oil pulsation pressure and allows smooth movements. A detecting sensor will disable table movement to protect the railways when lubrication oil pressure is abnormal.
Hydraulic systemEmploys precise electrical circuit to control the proportional hydraulic valve. Operator can adjust work table speed directly via control panel to increase work efficiency. Hydraulic tank temperature is maintained by Habor Coolant system to stabilize oil temperature after long hours of operation to guarantee grinding precision and protect hydraulic system parts.
Control System (PNC type)DSC-based NC control system integrates all functions and movements into one panel. Numerical control utilizes AC servo motors on both vertical feed and cross feed. LCD screen display with digital inputs on the panel allows easy operation across various grinding applications. The system is designed for easy maneuvering and user-friendly operation without requiring complex programming.
