The TUCANA ST marks the beginning of a new era for our short-stroke drives, which have been specially developed for “test & scan” turret handlers applications. Compared to its predecessor, the ST series offers improved force control repeatability and higher throughput, which ultimately reduces the final cost of ownership of the machine.
Key parameters such as short move and settle times, along with smooth force limitation at low force levels, are now achievable with minimal compromise. The ST version is mechanically optimized with a fully symmetrical and balanced design, ensuring consistent friction behavior and minimizing unwanted move and settle time variations.
With capabilities to handle smaller nominal forces down to 0.5 N, improve force accuracy, reduce force overshoot, and increase acceleration, the TUCANA ST delivers superior performance.

Here are the key features:
Optimized Design
A mechanically optimised design guarantees long-term friction behaviour and minimises undesirable fluctuations in movement and settle time.
With its small form factor, it offers space-saving benefits without compromising on performance, making it suitable for installations with limited space availability.
With capabilities to handle smaller nominal forces down to 0.5 N, improve force accuracy, reduce force overshoot, and increase acceleration, it delivers superior performance.
