The Surge Rated Fuses from ETI is created to protect various Transient Voltage Surge Suppression products. The TVSS system will react to the surge if the fuse can survive on 8/20 μs lighting surge pulse even without operating. The fuse is made to be installed with the TVSS devices. It usually has no current rating with it. It has a high capability for current limitation when it is under the AC short circuit conditions. The fuse has an alternating current of 600 V and a breaking capacity of 200 kA. The fuse can be used for protection of renewable sources of energy. It can also be used in different kinds of fuses such as multimeter, railway, metering, telecom, fuses for DC voltage applications, safe work fuses, etc.
