Description
Plumbing kits installed on a Super Air Knife™ provide properly sized compressed air hose or pipe and fittings to interconnect the bottom or end compressed air inlets for consistent performance and simplified installation. Available installed on Super Air Knives from 24" to 108". EXAIR's Super Air Knife entrains ambient air at 40:1 and reduces compressed air usage and noise.

Materials

• Aluminum — Aircraft-grade aluminum with plastic shim and stainless steel screws; suitable where corrosion is not a factor. Temperature up to 180°F (82°C).
• Type 303 Stainless Steel — Good strength for mildly corrosive environments. Temperature up to 800°F (427°C).
• Type 316 Stainless Steel — Improved corrosion resistance; suited for food, pharmaceutical and surgical product manufacturing. Temperature up to 800°F (427°C).
• PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) — Excellent chemical and corrosion resistance; uses PTFE shims and Hastelloy® C-276 screws. Suitable for electroplating, semiconductors, batteries, acids/caustics and medical devices. Temperature up to 275°F (135°C).
