Product overview
EXcell 241 is a high‑precision digital NIR absorption sensor for DN25 weld‑in sockets, designed for biomass monitoring in biotech, food and pharmaceutical fermentation processes. Stainless steel wetted parts, DN25 weld‑in interface, wear‑free sapphire measuring windows, LED light source and integrated digital amplifier support measurements in absorbance, turbidity and mass units (AU / OD / FAU / EBC / mg/l) or customer‑defined units.

Parameterization and interfaces
The EXpert parameterization software enables PC‑based configuration, graphical display, logging and export of measured data. Communication and outputs include USB, RS485 Modbus and 0…20 mA (or 4…20 mA) current output.

Mechanical / Installation
The sensor is mounted to the weld‑in socket via a G1 1/4" thread; the O‑ring position can be selected to suit the existing socket for optimal sterile installation. Materials and surface finish meet hygienic requirements and the sensor is CIP/SIP capable; selected configurations allow autoclaving.
