Overview
The roof disconnecting switches, change-over switches and disconnecting-earthing switches are designed for no-load disconnecting, reconnecting and earthing of electric circuits of the traction vehicle. The switches can be controlled with pneumatic or electric drive that can be equipped by emergency manual control or it could be controlled manually only. The switches are intended for installation to the roof hole or on the roof. The disconnecting path is always visible.

Disconnecting – earthing switches protect by earthing function 1.5 kV and 3 kV circuits during operations under AC overhead line.
