Overview
The kappa 550 e-motion is a sliding table panel saw engineered for industrial production. It combines precision cutting, automated workflows and an advanced safety system to optimise throughput and reduce setup time.

e-motion features
The e-motion configuration includes an automatic rip fence, unlimited tool storage and programmable cutting sequences managed via the integrated software. All axes are controlled ergonomically through the central 15" touch screen control (smartouch) for fast, repeatable setups.

Safety
The kappa 550 is equipped with the PCS® (Preventive Contact System), a non-contact, fast-triggering safety device that detects collision risks before contact with the blade and stops hazardous situations in milliseconds. PCS® is dust-resistant and resettable at the push of a button; legally required guards (splitter and saw guard) must still be used.
