The strapping tool PL is a manual strapping tool that is easy to use and affordable. It is suitable for tensioning and strapping polypropylene bands from 12 to 16 mm with a maximum thickness of 0.8 mm. This strapping system is recommended for strapping pallets of 400 kg (with 12 mm strap) and about 800 kg (with 16 mm strap), considering the use of two straps per pallet. The tightness of the strap will depend on the type of strap chosen. The closure is performed with a metallic tooled seal to increase tightness. Upon request, it can be used in the greengrocery sector by equipping it with a hook for boxes and containers (optional). Block one end with the brake and ensure the other end is under the cutter and within the tension roller. After manually inserting the PL metal seal in the central part of the tensioning device, tension the strap with the ratchet lever and close the seal. During the closing phase, the strapping tool automatically cuts the strap and can be lifted off. STRAP AND SEALS The strapping tool PL can be used with a polypropylene strap from 12 to 16 mm. Depending on the size of the chosen strap, the breaking load varies. The PL seal guarantees a holding of the strap of about 70% of the breaking load. The strap can be customized, at low cost, with quality print (up to 3 colors). The polypropylene strap is 100% recyclable and easily disposable. The holding capacity of the strap depends on the material type and the chosen strap. OPTIONAL - Strapping trolley: For handling and unwinding the strap reel, it is appropriate to use the special trolley. This helps avoid problems when the strapping band is carried out incorrectly. - Protective corners: Plastic and cardboard protective corners are used on products to be strapped, so that the strapping tension does not damage the corners of fragile products. - Model PLR: The PL is also available in the PLR model, with a gear multiplier. Thanks to this system, tensioning is carried out faster and with less effort.
