Loading Ramps Series FPH72 The FPH72 series loading ramps are the ideal choice for those working in the gardening sector and for hobby uses, thanks to their robust and reliable structure. Designed to guarantee safety and resistance even in conditions of frequent use, these ramps offer a practical and durable solution for loading and unloading machinery and garden equipment on vehicles on vans, trailers or flatbeds. The ramps are available with a variable capacity from 849 kg up to 1685 kg, thus ensuring a wide operating margin for different types of vehicles, and with a maximum length of 3500 mm. The ramps are available both in the version with a safety side edge, useful for preventing lateral slipping, and in the version without edge. The models with edge have a standard width of 250 mm, but on request a version with edge and increased width of 450 mm is also available, ideal for those who need a larger transit area. All models are supplied with a non-slip surface with steps, designed to ensure maximum grip during use. On request with a 15% increase it is possible to have the ramps with a full non-slip surface "millerighe". Choosing the Length: The choice of length is a fundamental aspect to ensure safe use of the ramp, the latter is calculated based on various factors: - Loading height: The distance between the ground and the point where the ramp ends (usually the cargo area of a van). The greater this height, the greater the length of the ramp must be to avoid excessively steep inclinations. - Ramp inclination: it is advisable to maintain a maximum slope between 20% and 30% depending on the type of load. - Product weight: another fundamental aspect is the weight of the vehicle/equipment that must be loaded, on the basis of this it is good to consider that the shorter the ramp, the greater its capacity will be, but at the same time the greater the inclination that the latter will assume. Based on this we can indicatively determine that: - In the presence of a height of 30 cm it is recommended to use a ramp with a length of 1500 mm. - In the presence of a height of 50 cm it is recommended to use a ramp with a length of 2000 mm. - In the presence of a height of 70 cm it is recommended to use a ramp with a length of 2500 mm. - In the presence of a height of 85 cm it is recommended to use a ramp with a length of 3000 mm. - In the presence of a height of 100 cm it is recommended to use a ramp with a length of 3500 mm.
