The Fumex ME range is a highly flexible extraction arm series designed for laboratory environments, hair salons and light industrial applications such as soldering. Its joint structure combines maximum flexibility with very low pressure drop, helping create efficient source extraction with low energy consumption and easy positioning.
The range includes several versions to suit different environments and media. ME STD is intended for general applications and uses polypropylene joints with thin-walled anodized aluminium tubes. ME PP is developed for corrosive environments such as certain laboratories and pharmaceutical and chemical industries, with polypropylene joints and tubes and stainless steel metal parts in contact with the airflow.
For ESD-sensitive and potentially explosive environments, the range also includes ESD and ATEX versions. These are suitable where there is a need to avoid the risk of spark formation and where ESD-certified products are required, such as in the electronics industry. They use conductive polypropylene joints and tubes, stainless steel parts in contact with the airflow, and specially coated load-bearing metal parts. The ATEX version complies with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU category 2 for gases and dust.
Fumex ME is available in diameters Ø50, Ø75 and Ø100 mm and in lengths from 650 to 2,650 mm. Ceiling, wall and table brackets are available as standard, with ceiling brackets also functioning as exhaust ducts. Different hood materials are used depending on version, including transparent materials for STD and PP and black hoods for ESD/ATEX.
With its broad version range, low pressure drop and adaptable mounting options, the Fumex ME series offers a versatile extraction solution for everything from everyday laboratory work to corrosive, ESD-sensitive and ATEX-classified applications.
