The Fumex PTEX is a compact and flexible telescopic extraction arm designed for confined work areas such as welding booths and workbenches. It combines a low-pressure-drop design with easy positioning, making it well suited for applications that require efficient source capture in limited spaces.

With a diameter of 125 mm and an extendable reach from 1.3 to 2.1 metres, PTEX offers a practical solution where space is restricted. A gas spring supports the arm weight, while an adjustment knob on the upper friction joint allows smooth and easy repositioning.

The suction nozzle and manual damper are made entirely of sheet steel and use Fumex’s quick-coupling system for accessories. The nozzle can be rotated 360° and angled 90°, and the wall bracket also features 360° swivel movement for maximum flexibility.

PTEX is supplied with flame-resistant PVC hose as standard, with additional hose options available depending on the application. Its external support arms help maintain low pressure drop and reduce the risk of blockage, while the smooth interior makes the unit easy to clean. The arm is also easy to install and can be fitted with accessories for ceiling or floor mounting.
