The Fumex MiniTEX is a flexible telescopic extraction arm developed for laboratories and other environments where compact, precise and easily adjustable source extraction is required. Its telescopic design makes it particularly suitable where space is limited and where the extraction point needs to be positioned close to the source without obstructing the work area.

MiniTEX is equipped with gas springs to balance the weight of the arm, making it easy to position and comfortable to use. The adjustable telescopic function and movable hood angle provide high flexibility in daily work and make it simple to adapt the arm to different tasks and working positions.

The arm is designed for very low pressure drop and has a straight airflow path without internal components that obstruct the airflow. This gives MiniTEX high suction efficiency and allows relatively high air velocity at the nozzle. For most laboratory applications, a diameter of Ø75 mm and an airflow of 40 l/s is recommended.

Because the telescopic function uses only one flexible joint, the extractor avoids the risk of colliding with low-hanging light fixtures or suspended ceilings. MiniTEX is supplied with a fixed handle made of bright anodized aluminium for stable and practical operation. A Ø500 mm dome hood is also available, and the flat screen hood is designed to maximize the working area without blocking the object from the user’s view.
