Overview
Gates® Power Cutter 208 (variant 78028) is a high-torque electric hose cutter designed for fast, straight cuts of braided and spiral hydraulic hose. It delivers repeatable, clean cuts for assembly shops, maintenance and fleet operations.

Key features

• 4.5 hp peak motor with high torque for faster cutting and reduced operator effort.
• Cutting capacity: two- and four-wire hose up to 2" I.D.; six-wire hose up to 1-1/4" I.D.; also handles small hoses down to 3/16" I.D.
• 12" scalloped reversible blade, sharpenable; dissipates heat to reduce friction and provide clean cuts.
• Sturdy blade guard and permanent mounting brackets for secure, safe operation.
