DESCRIPTION
Continuous tumble belt blast machine is ideal for shotblasting serially produced workpieces, as well as for delicate, large components with demanding geometry. The weight of workpieces can vary between a few grams and up to 50 kg.
Workpieces continuously enter the machine and thus also travel through the machine. In contrast to conventional batch tumble belt machines, there are no major height drops that could cause injury to the workpieces. The workpieces move slowly forward and simultaneously rotate. Thanks to the advanced caterpillar system, workpiece transport is precise and the same for all workpiece shapes. The cleaning – shotblasting – of the workpieces is double, from rolling and from the impact of abrasive.
Caterpillar tracks can be pulled out of the machine for easy maintenance.
The quality of shotblasting is better than with batch tumble belt machines or spinner hanger machines, while less energy is used for blasting wheels. The reason for high shotblasting efficiency and relatively low energy consumption is the short distance between the blasting wheels and the workpieces. This enables optimal use of energy with very low energy losses compared to other types of shot blasting machines. To achieve the same efficiency, for example, spinner hanger machine would use 50 – 80% more energy.
It is a highly productive continuous machine that can be placed in a line, where workpieces can be continuously loaded or unloaded. Loading and unloading of workpieces can be manual or automated.
