Internal filter replacement for PFC-44 pre-filter (set of 6) Even without hydrocarbon or ester pollution, the PFC-44 pre-filter can sometimes be clogged by too many impurities in the drainage water. The internal components installed in the SPI® prefiltration system is composed of foam and a black diffuser; it must be changed regularly to ensure optimal drainage of the wasterwater. In order for the PETRO-PIT® filters to maintain sufficient flow, the PFC-44 must be kept as clean as possible. If there are too many impurities in the drainage water, the foam and black mesh in the pre-filter must be replaced. Sold by sets of 6, excluding pre-filter. Step of follow : Unscrew the top of the PFC-44 pre-filter, Remove all internals, Place the thin grey sheet on the bottom, Add the polyester disc, Place the foam, Add the black mesh over the foam, Close the top part and tighten strongly.
