Overview
The BRAD® 400 is a mechanical protective cover designed to reduce the risk of accidental impacts on PETRO-PIT® SPI hydrocarbon filter cartridges and pre-filters. It provides a simple, universal mechanical protection that helps maintain filter sealing and hydraulic performance of the filtration system.

BRAD® 400 description
The cover protects SPI PETRO-PIT® filters and pre-filters from impacts that can occur during operations and maintenance around transformers, retention basins and drainage equipment. It can be fitted to new or existing retention basins, photovoltaic skids, BESS platforms and concrete pits.

Installation and maintenance

• Before installation, the basin must be equipped with a suitable PETRO-PIT® filtration kit.
• The edges of the cover should be slightly spread to allow insertion over the filtration kit.
• The BRAD® is positioned between the elbow and the pre-filter and is held in place on the kit.
• Low maintenance: periodic visual inspection is recommended.

Suitable for installations where operators frequently work near filtration equipment: transformer retention basins, photovoltaic skids, BESS platforms, concrete pits, and high-traffic areas for inspections and maintenance.
