Introduction
The N530A 2.0 gas permeability tester uses the differential pressure method to measure gas transmission through films, sheets, paper and packaging materials. Test principle
The instrument operates on the differential pressure principle: the sample is mounted between upper and lower chambers, the system evacuates the gas path, the upper chamber is pressurized with test gas, and the pressure change in the lower chamber is recorded to calculate transmission rate and barrier properties.
