Description

Introduction
The N500 2.0 is a Gas Permeability Analyzer based on the differential pressure method, designed with reference to GB/T 1038 and related standards. It measures the gas transmission rate (quantity) of films, sheets and other materials, and supports testing of packaging containers when used with appropriate accessories.

Applications
  • Plastic films, composite films, aluminum and aluminized films
  • Sheets, plates, rubber, ceramics and other solid materials
  • Packaging containers: bottles, bags, bowls (with accessories)
  • Electronic and optical components: solar backplanes, LCD films
  • Industries: quality control, R&D, packaging, food, pharma, electronics, daily chemicals

Key features
  • Standard-traceable calibration: Calibrated and verified with national standard materials to ensure data accuracy and traceability. Instrument conforms to relevant national certificates.
  • User-friendly operation: Professional software with clear interface, flexible test programs, fully automatic operation with auto-judgement and stop; real-time display of temperature, upper/lower cavity pressures, pressure difference and permeation curves; PDF report export.
  • Advanced measurement control: Automatic pressure-maintaining system to set and hold differential pressure across the sample; water-cooled temperature control with automatic heating/cooling (no external temperature device required); temperature accuracy to ±0.2°C.
  • High sensitivity and throughput: Single test cavity with rapid data acquisition; measurement precision up to 0.01 cm³/(m²·24h·0.1MPa); test range 0.01–50,000 cm³/(m²·24h·0.1MPa) (extendable to 600,000 with volume extension); capable of testing high-barrier materials and containers with adapters.
  • Data security and user management: Software compliant with computerized system requirements (GMP appendix); multi-level user accounts (admin, instrument admin, auditor, operator) with configurable permissions and audit trail for all data changes.
  • Reliability & maintenance: High-precision pressure sensor with overload protection; modular design for straightforward maintenance.
