Description

The Haas UMC-1500SS-DUO is like having two machines in one: a high-speed 5-axis universal machining center, and a versatile 3-axis vertical machining center. We’ve taken our industry-leading UMC-750SS universal machining center, expanded its X-axis travel, and added a stationary 32" x 18" T-slot table next to the dual-axis trunnion. Use the stationary table to set up workholding for first operations – like cutting dovetails on your 5-axis material – or to machine the 6th side of your completed 5-axis parts. Or, because the stationary table and trunnion platter (at B0) are at the same height, you can fixture parts across both, and use the machine’s full X-axis travel to machine long parts. Stationary 32" x 18" (813 mm x 457 mm) T-slot table Includes Wireless Intuitive Probing System Made in the USA
