The DM-3 is identical in construction and specifications to the DM-2, but provides 8" (203 mm) more X-axis travel and a longer table, while maintaining the DM-2’s compact footprint. The longer X travel easily accommodates multiple fixtures, longer parts, and long extrusions, and the shop-proven 40-taper inline spindle provides 10,000 rpm, and allows high-speed rigid tapping. The machine’s 18+1 tool changer, high acceleration rates, fast rapids, and impressive short tool-change times make the DM-3 an attractive high-productivity machining center.
