Description

The Haas VP-5 vertical machining center combines the rigid structure of a mid-size vertical machining centers with an articulating spindle head to create a versatile machine for processing multi-sided prismatic parts . Mill prismatic parts in a single setup 40-taper articulating spindle w/brake +106° to -8º B-axis spindle rotation, interpolated or positioning The VP-5’s articulating B-axis spindle head provides +106° to -8º of rotation, allowing you to machine prismatic parts in a single setup. Synchronize the B-axis motion with the X, Y, and Z axes for 3D interpolated machining, or engage the powerful B-axis brake for rigid 3+1 machining. For even more flexibility, add a high-speed C-axis or A-axis rotary for 5-side machining.
