Description

Overview
The Tork-Lok ID Grip Collet System is a versatile workholding solution designed to replace standard collets or 3-jaw chucks to improve productivity, setup and changeover speed, and accuracy while providing a wide internal gripping range for stock variation.

Design & General Information
The Tork-Lok arbor design delivers a flexible workholding platform. Precision-ground flats on collets and arbors enhance long-term accuracy and torque transmission. Components are standardized for interchangeability and multiple configuration options. The arbor locates straight or tapered holes on true center. The system is available in English (inch) and Metric arbor designs. The Metric arbor features a three-hole mounting pattern, tighter tolerances for size and parallelism, a precision-ground face for improved locating, and flange provisions for air sensing. Both arbor types accept the same collets. Optional fixtures include a manual locking fixture for low-cost setup and minimal maintenance, or a pneumatic cylinder mountable flat and actuated via an air valve.
