Description

Overview
The TMU-T Coriolis mass flow meter from Heinrichs Messtechnik GmbH is engineered for processes handling highly aggressive media and severe operating conditions. Wetted parts are manufactured from high-purity tantalum to provide exceptional corrosion resistance while delivering reliable mass flow, density and temperature measurement. The sensor features a compact, fully welded design that ensures thermal stability and vibration resistance in demanding industrial environments.

Highlights
  • Size up to DN100 / 4”
  • Measuring range 60…80.000 kg/h
  • Fully welded stainless steel housing 1.4301/304L
  • Measuring accuracy: 0.1% (liquids)
  • Integrated heating jacket (optional)

Description
The TMU-T is a proven solution for corrosive liquids and gases. High-purity tantalum wetted parts (99.8%) deliver maximum chemical resistance against concentrated acids and aggressive process fluids. The fully welded 1.4301 (304L) secondary containment and compact sensor geometry provide high mechanical robustness and temperature stability. The design maintains measurement accuracy under extreme chemical and thermal stress and suppresses effects from external vibration and pipeline-induced loads. In addition to direct mass flow measurement, the TMU-T supplies density and temperature outputs for improved process control and optimization.
