This DOOSAN diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle with a direct injection type. Model P222LE-I has a turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, 12-V cylinders and a rated output of 496 kW prp or 537 kW on standby. It works on a coolant system with a displacement of 21,927 L. The bore and stroke sizes are 128 x 142 mm. The engine uses lube oil API CH4 SAE 15W40 or 10W40. The total oil capacity is 40 L. The fuel consumption at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% PRP is 35,3 l/h, 62,2 l/h, 89,7 l/h and 120,6 l/h respectively. It is 140,1 l/h on standby. The water cooled diesel engine has a 24V electrical system, an electric governor, a dry air cleaner, hot components and radiator guards, and mobile components guards.
