Product Process:
- Step 1: Material Selection - High-performance PA66 engineering plastic is chosen for the housing due to its excellent insulation, mechanical strength, and heat resistance. Copper alloy wires are selected for the contact pins to ensure superior electrical conductivity.
- Step 2: Mold Design and Fabrication - A precision injection mold is developed, capable of holding inserts. The mold is designed to maintain high accuracy, supporting ±0.01 mm tolerance during production.
- Step 3: Insert Molding Process - The copper alloy pins are plated with tin or nickel for corrosion resistance and then placed into the mold as inserts. Using injection molding technology, molten PA66 is injected to encapsulate the pins, forming a strong bond between the metal and plastic.
- Step 4: Cooling and Ejection - After injection, the molded part is cooled under controlled conditions to avoid warping. The finished connector housing with embedded pins is then ejected from the mold.
- Step 5: Post-Processing - Products undergo trimming to remove any excess material, followed by surface inspection. Pin alignment and dimensional accuracy are checked to ensure each part meets precision requirements.
- Step 6: Quality Inspection - Automated and manual inspections confirm plating quality, tolerance, and conductivity. Only qualified connectors proceed to packaging.
- Step 7: Packaging and Delivery - Final products are packaged securely to prevent pin damage during transport and delivered to customers worldwide.
