Description

Vacuum Relief Valve (VRV) is designed to protect storage tanks and process vessels from excessive vacuum conditions caused by pump-out, draining, or thermal cooling. The valve automatically opens when the preset vacuum level is reached, allowing air or gas to enter the tank and preventing tank buckling or implosion.

Precision-machined seats and pallets provide reliable sealing during normal operation while ensuring quick response when vacuum relief is required.
