A Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve (PVRV) – Pipe Away Type provides combined protection against excessive pressure and vacuum in storage tanks while allowing discharged vapors to be safely routed through connected piping.
The valve opens at the preset pressure during tank filling or thermal expansion and admits air or gas when excessive vacuum develops during pump-out or cooling. The pipe-away arrangement is particularly suitable where vapors need to be recovered, treated, or discharged to a designated safe location.
