Overview
Designed for durability and reliability, Duramax® Hyamp™ torches are built to handle the full 125-amp output of the Powermax125® plasma cutting system and are compatible for use on lower amp Powermax® systems. They are available for handheld and machine cutting and gouging, and for robotic cutting. Duramax Hyamp Long torches are offered in 0.6 m (2'), 1.2 m (4') and 1.83 m (6') lengths to provide extra reach and durability for heavy-duty applications such as scrapping, plate skeleton removal from cutting tables and infrastructure repair or reconstruction.

Features and consumables
Duramax Hyamp torches are available with a broad set of specialty consumable options to support applications including gouging, fine feature cutting, extended reach cutting, precision gouging, flush cutting (cutting flush to base materials), and marking.

• Max control gouging — for precise metal removal, shallower gouge profiles and light metal washing
• Max removal gouging — for aggressive metal removal, deep gouge profiles and extreme metal washing

Benefits

• Hand cutting and gouging: 85° and 15° hand torches suited to most hand cutting and gouging jobs; 15° directs heat away from operator for heavy gouging and allows cutting overhead or in hard-to-reach areas.
• Machine jobs: 180° full-length machine torches for CNC cutting tables, track cutters, and pipe-cutters; mini machine torches for lighter tables and pipe cutting where full-length is too long. Machine torches have a larger diameter and do not include a gear rack.
• Robotic jobs: lightweight, compact robotic torches with built-in positioning features enable easy robot integration; optional clamp available to speed integration.
• Heavy-duty applications: Long torches (0.6 m, 1.2 m, 1.83 m) provide extra reach and durability; 0.6 m and 1.2 m Long torches include a carry bag; 1.2 m and 1.83 m Long torches include an adjustable auxiliary handle.

* 150 foot torches are only compatible with Powermax125 units built after November 14, 2017 (serial number 125-007944 or higher) or that have had the DSP board replaced with a board built after this date.

Mechanical teach tool and robotic accessories
Optional mechanical teach tool allows touching the plate while programming cutting and pierce heights. Robotic clamp assembly kit (#228806) and robotic teach tool kit (#229832) are available for robotic integration (Duramax Hyamp robotic).
