Product overviewA through-flow electric heater effectively heats liquids, oils and gases in flow. IHP through-flow heaters feature robust, high-power designs that heat the medium to the required temperature directly at the outlet connection. Units can be configured with lower power when the medium is recirculated in a closed loop or where power demand is low (often referred to as circulation heaters in such cases).
Design and main components- Custom design according to process requirements and customer specifications
- A complete unit includes tube, inlet, outlet, electric heating elements, flanges and connection boxes
- Optional integrated thermal insulation
- Optional built-in thermostats, temperature sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors and overheating protection to meet operating requirements
Control and operationThe through-flow heater is normally controlled from a separate control cabinet or a control panel connected to a PLC. For simpler installations and lower power ratings, mechanical thermostat control is an alternative.
ServicesIHP delivers through-flow heaters fully designed to process requirements and customer specifications, and provides support for control systems, installation and preventive maintenance.
