Description

IM-SP401A is a single pole normally open small high capacity 32A 40A PCB Circuit Board Relay, It has the characteristics of low temperature rise, low power consumption, miniature size and cost-effective desigh. It can withstand 1000A 1ms/three times short-time over-current. It is primarily designed for electrical vehicle charging stations, charging cables and for photovoltaic inverter applications. Other applications include stand by power units, UPS, washing machines and dryer disconnections. There are two standards in the car charging pile industry, the national standard 16A and the national standard 32A. For different currents, the rated current of the selected relay will also be different. The car charging pile has slow charging and fast charging. The cost of slow charging is lower than that of fast charging. Slow charging Relays are used, while high-voltage contactors are used for fast charging, up to 7kv when working, and the power consumption is high at the same time. Now the main advantage is the slow charging. The slow charging 16A standard generally uses a 40A relay. EV-Charging is carried out via wall charging stations (wall boxes) or by using charging cables with integrated electronics (IC-CPD). Products that are used here must comply with current standards such as IEC62752 for IC-CPD mode 2 charging, or with IEC61851-1 for charging in accordance with mode 3 for wall boxes. These standards carry stringent requirement, for example with respect to the ability to withstand significant short-circuits.
