electromagnetic flowmeter OPTIFLUX 4400 The OPTIFLUX 4400 electromagnetic flowmeter is developed in accordance with IEC 61508 for safety-related applications up SIL 2/3. It features automated partial proof testing capabilities, which allows to extend the time interval between full proof tests and increase plant uptime in safety instrumented systems (SIS). The OPTIFLUX 4400 is particularly suitable for process applications with high accuracy requirements and difficult flow conditions such as pulsating and turbulent flow. The OPTIFLUX 4400 comes with a wide range of flowmeter and process diagnostics for a high degree of reliability. Among others, it features a best-in class diagnostic test interval incl. fault response time of only 2 minutes. If running out of spec, the flowmeter is able to issue an alarm to the control room much faster than other EMFs available on the market.
