Description

Overview
VGR-DN series jacketed glass reactor is a double-layer (jacketed) glass reactor with an inner vessel for the reaction medium and an outer jacket for heating or cooling. The inner vessel is stirrable; the jacket accepts refrigerant, hot water or thermal oil for temperature control. The sealed reactor operates at atmospheric or reduced pressure and supports stirring, reflux and distillation for pilot and production synthesis in fine chemicals, biopharmaceuticals and new materials.

Technical characteristics
  • Stainless steel mobile column frame with multi-neck glass cover (typically 4–6 necks depending on model).
  • G3.3 borosilicate glass inner and outer vessels providing chemical resistance and thermal stability.
  • Alloy steel mechanical seal with PTFE joints for reliable sealing under working conditions.
  • Pt100 temperature probe for accurate measurement.
  • AC gear motor (Japanese technology) delivering strong torque and low noise; motor power varies by model.
  • Double PTFE stirring paddles suitable for low-to-high viscosity mixing.
  • PTFE discharge valve with movable interface for complete and rapid emptying.
  • Vacuum capability to approximately 0.098 MPa; explosion-proof (ex-proof) configurations available for selected models.
  • Available capacities from 1 L to 200 L with selectable rotation speeds (small models up to 1400 rpm; larger models typically 50–600 rpm).
