Description

Overview
  • Four-pole distribution block 125 A designed for power distribution on three-phase networks with neutral. Available with 7, 11 or 15 outputs. DIN-rail or surface mounting. Compliant with EN 60947-7-1.

Electrical characteristics
  • Rated current: 125 A
  • Rated voltage: 500 V AC
  • Number of poles: 4 (four-pole)
  • Variants (number of outputs and terminal geometry):
    • DDB-407BE125 – 7 outputs: 1 x Ø8.5 mm / 1 x Ø7.5 mm / 5 x Ø5.3 mm
    • DDB-411BE125 – 11 outputs: 2 x Ø8.5 mm / 2 x Ø7.5 mm / 7 x Ø5.3 mm
    • DDB-415BE125 – 15 outputs: 2 x Ø8.5 mm / 2 x Ø7.5 mm / 11 x Ø5.3 mm
  • Tightening torque: 2–3 Nm
  • Peak short-circuit current (Ipk): 20 kA
  • Withstand current (Icw): 4.5 kA

Accepted cable sections
  • For Ø8.5 mm terminal: flexible with ferrules 10–25 mm² / solid 10–35 mm²
  • For Ø7.5 mm terminal: flexible with ferrules 6–16 mm² / solid 10–25 mm²
  • For Ø5.3 mm terminal: flexible with ferrules 1.5–6 mm² / solid 2.5–6 mm²

Physical characteristics
  • Conductor block: high-conductivity copper
  • Screws: zinc-plated steel
  • Housing: PA66-V0 base RAL7035 with removable translucent grey cover
  • Mounting: DIN rail or surface
  • Protection: IP20
  • Insulation: insulating plate between poles and at the housing base (isolates the DIN rail)
  • Dimensions (L x H x D): 64 x 90 x 50 mm (DDB-407BE125); 100 x 90 x 50 mm (DDB-411BE125); 130 x 90 x 50 mm (DDB-415BE125)

Functions and applications
  • Distributes and centralizes power in three-phase installations with neutral, reducing losses thanks to the high-conductivity copper block.
  • Modular design eases wiring and maintenance in distribution panels and multi-feed enclosures.
  • Typical applications: commercial buildings, industrial sites, distribution boards, workshops and any environment requiring reliable, secure power distribution.

Usage recommendations
  • Respect the recommended cable sections for each terminal type.
  • Use ferrules on flexible conductors to ensure reliable contact.
  • Apply the recommended tightening torque (2–3 Nm) to limit heating.
  • Disconnect power before any intervention.
  • Periodically check tightening and mechanical integrity.
  • Observe Ipk and Icw values to avoid overloads.
