Since 2010, LSP has been dedicated to designing and manufacturing 48V DC Surge Protector (48V DC SPD) protecting installations from transient overvoltages that result from switching events and lightning strikes. LSP developed a comprehensive range of Type 1+2 and Type 2 48V DC Surge Protector (48V DC SPD) used to protect equipment connected to DC power (as well as alternatives) against surges due to lightning. Type 1+2 and Type 2 48V DC Surge Protector 48V Surge Protector (48V DC SPD) is designed to protect equipment connected to DC (and AC) power supplies from lightning surges. It is based on varistors matched to the network voltage: the varistors have thermal disconnection devices to control any end-of-life. These DIN rail 48V Surge Protector (48V DC SPD) are connected in parallel to the equipment being protected.
