The No.6500 polyimide tape is high heat-resistant and is intended primarily for heat‑resistant masking. Electrical insulation is referenced on the product page but use for electrical insulation is not recommended (see application cautions).

Common instructions for application
Clean adherend surface of dirt, dust and oils before applying the tape
Apply sufficient pressure after application to obtain required adhesion
Store in a cool, dark place; avoid direct sunlight and heaters
Do not apply directly to furniture, walls, glass, PVC products, car bodies, etc.; adhesive residue, discoloration or paint peeling may occur
Do not apply directly to skin unless the tape is specifically designed for that use; rash or adhesive residue may result
Do not use for electrical insulation purposes (see product caution)
