Description

The No.5976 Butyl tape for processing is a pressure-sensitive butyl adhesive tape developed for die-cutting and adhesive processing of rubber sheets, foam and similar materials. It is formulated to improve die-cutting performance and increase processing efficiency.




Applications and features
Designed for adhesive processing and die-cutting of rubber sheets, foam and comparable substrates.
Provides waterproofing and vibration-absorbing properties suitable for industrial assemblies.
Thickness: 0.6 mm.

Holding power: 400 min (test conditions below).

Common instructions for application
Remove dirt, dust, oil and other contaminants from the adherend surface before applying the tape.
Apply sufficient pressure after placement to ensure required adhesion.
Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Do not use for electrical insulation purposes.
Do not apply directly to furniture, walls, glass, PVC products, or vehicle bodies; adhesive residue, discoloration or paint peeling may occur.
Do not adhere to skin unless the tape is specified for skin contact; otherwise irritation or adhesive residue may occur.
Confirm tape selection carefully to avoid adhesive residue or contamination of the adherend.
