Overview
The HALF is a horizontal stone splitter equipped with two horizontal blades that perform automatic splitting. Designed to recover thin waste strips from sawing operations, the machine is available in built-to-order versions with extended blades and adapted handling systems for horizontal splitting of longer pieces (strips or platters). It is particularly suited to multilayer and veined materials such as gneiss and granite. Splitting with the HALF yields two pieces: each has one natural split face and one smooth/sawn face suitable for cladding.
