The HEM12E series linear potentiometers with integrated signal converter are designed for hydraulic applications with operating pressures of max. 250 bar and peaks up to 400 bar. To facilitate electronic integration, the HEM12E series is equipped with an electronic signal converter board inside the flange head. A simple 24VDC±20% power supply can be used instead of a sensitive reference voltage. The analogue signal is typically 4...20mA. The mechanical detection of linear motion is achieved by a magnetic drag. The design prevents the ingress of dirt or dust into the sensor element. This provides IP67 protection for harsh environments. For mechanical coupling, the displacement sensors are available with internal or external flange. Potentiometric displacement measurement is performed using a high-resolution conductive plastic resistive element. The encoder has a very long life and high accuracy due to its good linearity. Customization on the cable (length, connector version) or on the pushrod (length, thread, flat...) is available on request.
