Precise position measurement with integrated signal processing
The inductive position sensors of the MDC series combine the reliable LVDT measurement principle with integrated electronics housed within the sensor itself. The position is converted directly into an analogue voltage or current signal, eliminating the need for an external evaluation unit. This makes the series particularly suitable for compact or retrofittable systems with an analogue interface. The output signal is absolute and position information is available immediately upon switching on.
Three mechanical variants are available for flexible integration:
MDCG with rod ends for offset compensation and easy installation
MDCT with sheathed return spring as a probe version
MDCL with loose push rod for free mechanical coupling
Depending on the variant, measuring lengths from ±1 mm to ±100 mm are possible (corresponding to a total measuring length of 2 to 200 mm).
