Description

Inductive displacement sensor RAC Rugged AC output LVDT displacement sensor in three models with a wide temperature range and measurement lengths from 25 mm to 940 mm In 3 designs (probe, guided push rod or loose core) Wide temperature range -50°…125° C Very long lifespan due to wear-free measuring principle Suitable for high dynamics and oscillating movements AC voltage Mechanical diversity for individual requirements: The RAC series of displacement sensors can detect linear movement via either a guided or loose push rod. There are three variants to choose from: RACC: a single-sided guided push rod to which ball joints can be mounted as an optional extra. RACT, which is a probe version with an internal return spring; and RACL, which has a loose, unguided push rod for free coupling. and RACL, which has a loose, unguided push rod for free coupling. All versions are powered by AC voltage and deliver an analogue AC voltage signal corresponding to the position of the core. The displacement sensor is characterized by its wide temperature range of -50° to 125°C, and the inductive measuring principle in the RAC is implemented as an LVDT winding. Due to the contactless measuring principle, the inductive sensor has a very long service life and can be used to detect small oscillating movements with high dynamics. Customized cable adaptations (e.g. cable length and assembly with plug or push rod) are available on request.
