Overview
The SmartEAR®+ eC is a compact IoT logger for continuous monitoring of water distribution networks. It simultaneously measures acoustic signals, pressure and temperature to enable early and precise leak detection in main lines and plastic pipes. Secure transmission to the POSEYEDON® Cloud supports centralized analysis and long-term network optimization.

Implementation / Operation
The device is installed on-site using a magnetic ring or threaded adapter. Measurement cycles can be individually configured (for example night-time measurement to use low background noise). Recorded measurements are transmitted securely to the POSEYEDON® Cloud for visualization, automated alerting and network optimisation. A 3D product view (GLB model) is available to inspect device layout and mounting options.
