Overview
Motionics Wireless Rotor Runout Kit consists of a Bluetooth dial indicator (BlueDial), a Bluetooth angle sensor (BlueAngle) and the iPad Runout application. BlueAngle attaches to the end face or circumference of a rotor with a magnetic base and continuously measures rotating angle while BlueDial measures radial displacement at the edge of the rotating plane. Both sensors transmit data wirelessly to the iPad and the Runout app synchronizes displacement and angle readings to reconstruct the rotor contour for runout analysis and balancing.

Functionality
The Runout app visualizes collected data with a configurable probe meter for BlueDial readings (selectable tick counts and adjustable range/resolution). An analog-style needle displays displacement; BlueAngle is shown as a rotating arrow for angular position. The system supports connection of up to 9 displacement sensors simultaneously to test multiple planes in one session. After testing users can export raw data or generate and save a PDF test report on the iPad; a local record manager stores and retrieves previous test sessions and reports.
