Description

The CTlaser G7 offers non-contact temperature measurement for ultra-thin glass sheets, ranging from 100 °C to 1200 °C, making it ideal for accurately measuring temperatures of ultra-thin flat glass used in touch displays for smartphones and tablets. Featuring double laser aiming, the infrared sensor ensures precise marking of the measurement spot, providing versatility and ease of use with optics of 45:1 and selectable focus, along with a compact sensor head size. The pyrometer is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 85 °C without additional cooling and includes cooling and protection accessories for rugged environments. At an ambient temperature of 23 ± 5 °C, the system accuracy is ±1% or ±1.5 °C, with repeatability of ±0.5%. Understanding the emissivity of glass is crucial for accurate temperature measurement. The unique spectral range of 7.9 µm in the G7 model aligns closely with the glass material’s highest emissivity, simplifying remote temperature measurement by minimizing the spectral regions affected by reflectivity and transmissivity. Leveraging this wavelength range reduces the viewing angle’s impact on the glass surfaces emissivity, addressing issues related to reflections and enabling accurate measurement regardless of reflection, even when observing from inclined angles. Another notable feature of the CTlaser G7 series is its double laser aiming marks, which provide precise aiming support and minimize alignment errors. This innovative system utilizes two laser beams to trace the infrared optical path and accurately indicate the spot’s position and size, regardless of distance.
