The infrared thermometer optris CTlaser G5 has been specifically designed for the measurement of glass temperatures, especially for container glass, light bulb production, vehicle glass production, as well as in the manufacturing of solar cells. With the IR thermometer optris CTlaser G5, the temperature of the smallest objects, as tiny as 1 mm, from a safe distance of 70 mm, can be measured. The IR thermometer optris CSlaser G5 HF offers quick response times and is thus perfectly suited for fast processes.
The Optris CTlaser G5 pyrometer is tailored for precise temperature measurement in glass-related applications, featuring a two-piece sensor design for user-friendly operation and accurate readings from 100 °C to 1650 °C. It meets industrial requirements in the glass industry, with temperature ranges varying by model: G5L (100 °C to 1200 °C), G5H (250 °C to 1650 °C), and G5HF (200 °C to 1650 °C). Optical resolution ranges from 45:1 to 70:1, with ±1% or ±1.5 °C system accuracy and ±0.5% or ±0.5 °C repeatability. Exposure times range from 10 ms to 120 ms across models. The CTlaser G5’s 5.0 µm spectral range suits various glass-related industrial processes like float glass production. The pyrometer supports a double laser aiming marks for accurate targeting.
