Slotted collet Rubber-Flex® RFC

The Rubber-Flex RFC collets have a large clamping range. This beneficial clamping range of ± 1 mm to the nominal diameter is achieved due to the elastic rubber-metal conjunction. This decreases changeover times and saves customers from having to invest in four extra steel collets. Just one Rubber-Flex replaces five steel collets. The clamping range has a nominal diameter of ± 1 mm. Higher torques are able to be transferred and changeover time is decreased. The parallel closing of steel segments (RFC) enables gentle surface clamping. Precise sealing against swarf and coolant is ensured. The Rubber-Flex RFC collets are resistant to coolant and temperature up to 100 °C.
