Product description
The manual band saw BROWN SN 420 NEWTON IBP PEDRAZZOLI features main machine components cast in iron for reduced resonance and vibration during cutting. Two-speed drive, three-phase (400 V, 50 Hz); other voltages available on request.

NEWTON DEVICE DESCRIPTION
M — Manual mode: Set the selector to M. Turn the handwheel until the index matches 0 on the scale to tighten the bow balancing spring. Secure the piece in the vice. Press the start button to perform the manual cutting cycle: the bow descent is activated only while the start button is pressed. Bow descent pressure can be adjusted using the flow regulator.

D — Dynamic mode: Set the selector to D. Turn the handwheel until the index matches 40 on the scale to loosen the bow balancing spring. Adjust the end-of-cut limit switch. Secure the piece in the vice, position the blade above the workpiece and press start. The bow will descend by gravity; descent speed is controlled by the flow regulator and the limit switch stops blade motion at the end of the cut.
